About me

My Practice

I offer online psychological therapy for a range of difficulties, including but not limited to: anxiety, panic, depression, work-related stress, pain management, insomnia, self-harm, and trauma. I am registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC)

I use a range of evidence-based therapies in my approach and in particular draw techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Narrative Therapy (NT). I work with both adults and adolescents.

Therapy is a confidential and unique space. I work collaboratively with clients to choose which approach will work best for your needs.

Background

It is a privilege to become part of someone’s journey through life’s adversities. I started working in mental health services in 2011 and since then have worked in a variety of NHS trusts, such as; Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and University College London Hospital (UCLH), as well as private organisations and charities.

During this time, I have had the invaluable opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds, of all ages, and who face a wide range of challenges. Due to my varied experience of working in physical health settings I have a particular interest in the mind-body connection and the importance of understanding the relationship between emotional and physical experiences.

Assessment

After an initial free consultation, the next step is to arrange an assessment which will involve me asking more in-depth questions about you, the difficulties you are experiencing and your journey so far. This session may last up to 60 minutes. Towards the end of this session we will begin to build a plan for future therapy and initial goals.

Review/Ending Therapy

We will review our work together and your goals at regular intervals. Therapy is an evolving process and we will think together about when is a helpful time to end therapy.

Sessions

After the assessment we will plan to have regular sessions (ideally weekly but there is flexibility around how we shape your ongoing therapy).

Each session will last 50 minutes and we will continue to work towards your goals and build insight into the challenges you face.

Fees & Availability

I am available Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9am and 3:30pm. Fees will be discussed during a free consultation.

Please get in touch via email to arrange your free 15 minute consultation.
